Description

Description
39107CD antenna control system is specially designed for antenna’s precision satellite tracking and telemetry control applications, the complete system mainly consists of the antenna control unit (ACU), antenna drive unit (ADU), angle sensor, safety mechanism and connection cable, etc.
The Antenna Control Unit (ACU) is the primary control and monitor interface of the system, featuring a friendly windowing interface and menu-driven configuration, which is suitable for the automatic control for C or Ku band satellite communications earth stations and satellite television receiving only stations with two axis AC motorized control.
ADU is mainly used to control 3-phase motor, which drives the antenna. The control of ACU to the antenna is also realized by ADU.

Main Functions
1) ACU main function
Real-time Display of Antenna Position
ACU encodes according to Az., El. and Pol. Axis positions of the antenna and displays Az., El. and Pol. angles on the LCD screen. To attract attention, Az. and El. angles are displayed with 12×16 matrix graphics.
    Manual Control
39107CDAntenna Control System By pressing the rotation key on the panel of ACU, the antenna can be rotated in four directions: CW, CCW, UP and DOWN.
    Position Designation
ACU can not only make antenna automatically turn to target according to the designated satellite number, but also make it automatically stop after certain deflection according to the entry angle deflection on the basis of current pointing.
    Step Track
ACU can make antenna automatically track the target according to the signal level provided by tracking receiver.
    Linear/circular Polarization Switch
The linear/circular polarization status is switched by a key.
    Polarization Adjustment
The polarization angle of the linear polarization is adjusted by the keyboard on ACU panel.
    Parameters setting
The customer can input and modify all the operating parameters by the keyboard on the panel according to the menu on ACU.
    Dual-speed Drive
The dual-speed drive at azimuth and elevation is realized by the 3-phase AC transistor inverter.
    Safety Mechanism
The limit switches are provided on the limit position of azimuth, elevation and polarization travel. It will stop rotating and display when the antenna reaches to the limit position, at this moment, the antenna can only rotate reversely. An emergent switch is provided on the box of ADU and it can control the antenna to stop under the emergent event.
    Local/Remote Control Function
There are control modes for ADU: Local control and remote control by ACU.

2) ADU main function
ADU follow the order of ACU to drive the antenna.
